Thermold m14 mags worth buying?

I had one and I literally gave it away. They function ok but found them hard to remove, don't really match the rifle either. I'd take a Chinese mag over them any day
 
If their M14 magazines are anything like their C7 magazines were, don't even bother. The plastic lips break easily if dropped.
 
Ya i bought one of those therma mold m14 mags. I just wanted a mag that was easier to take out than the 5 rounder. Seems to fit fine but i havent actually used it yet. Tomorrow will tell.
 
I've got a few, they work ok for the first round. :(

The ones I have are 75%+ likely to not chamber the second round. I want to like them, and think they look cool. But they don't work at all for me.

the problem is they cut the spring so some work better then others. I found them to be hard to put in the rifle and hard to put ammo into them very stiff thats why I liked the pinned large round mags its allot easier to put ammo in them.
 
I've got 2 that are stiff to load, and are tight as hell when trying to load the 5th rnd. So i only load 4 in them and they have worked with no issues that way.
Mind you I've only fired about 20rnds through each. Time will tell i guess.
 
Just modded mine and now it feeds all 5 and locks back no problems. Thermamold looks to have taken too much material off the back of the mag so it sitts a mm or so too low not feeding the rounds properly. I will post pics soon.
