Im sure both are banned for being over 10000 joules. There is many guns that are missing from the list that shoot over 10000 joules.

On reflection I’m going to guess that it would require a combination of the described action AND discharging a cartridge that exceeds 10k joules. But again I know that is applying common sense which flys in the face of this new reality.

My 6Br and 308 don’t quite measure up to this.

Any legislation intended for the control and banning of firearms has always been poorly drafted and implemented.
Their end goal is to ban EVERYTHING, just incrementally so.
