I love my Tokarev TT-33 but the tiny grip isn't that comfortable for me. I think I've heard of a Hogue (maybe wrap-around) grip for this pistol or another which will make the grip thicker? Anyone know where this is available? There is a little finish wear at the top of the grip and it's a little abrasive, a wrap-around grip would be great to find. Thanks.

Hogue and Pachmyer both make "slip-on" sleeves in a couple of sizes with or without finger grooves.

"Slip-on" makes it sound easy but there's normally a lot of swearing involved in getting them on. I've found putting the sleeve in really hot water for a couple of minutes helps. It makes the rubber stretch more easily and the water acts as a lube.

So it's a true "wrap-around" style 1pc grip?

Hi I have a set of wrap around grips comming from MARSHALL GRIPS for my Yugo T-33 but it has been about x2 months wait so far.Gonna get a compensator/muzzle break from U.S.A E-BAY and cross the border to pick it up.Should be a great combo.

I had one on a Norinco Tokarev I got from a fellow CGN'R. He said that another member had brought some to the country several years ago. It felt really good in hand. I don't have the pistol anymore. The grip didn't have any markings on it, it did say "combat" on it though.

I'd buy that ^ if someone could locate where to buy...

Those are very tasteful Toka-bling. I like the ones on the CZ in Hitzy's post as well. Hopefully the original owner will see this and chime in. Might be worth asking around on www.tokarev.com, too.

That's some nice stuff, looks like there must be some modification to accept a screw instead of the original Tokarev design to hold them.

Here's how the Marschal grips are held on

First one goes on easy, the second one takes a bit of f*ckin' around getting the brace in.

Not a full wrap around, but they feel 100X better than the stock panels that were on there.

Tokagypt grips are thicker and fill your hand better...

I've got a Hungarian M58 with the same grips and magazine heel.

It does make the pistol much more comfortable to hold/point.

However, if the grips are a little loose upon recoil they can pinch the palm a little.

The grip seem is perfectly placed for that.

Wrap around Walnut grips, $105 US with shipping at Marschal Grips... a little more than I thought. Nice though. Didn't realize they were coming from Hungary. I'll think about it.

(I am assuming the Zastava Mod 57 grips will not fit?)
