I bought a no.4 Enfield sporter for $75 last fall, shoots well and cycles beautifully.

And hit as many Gun Shows you can. always a bargain on fridays befor everything is picked over by the hard core buyers.

I've bought 2 milsurps in the last few months that go boom for $100 or less!! Those guns are out there, you just have to find them and be willing to do some cleaning etc!

Seen too many ads like this from guys who take repairable guns off the market and part them out for a fast buck.

I BUY fixer-uppers but I don't sell them.

Sooner or later, they make it back out to the range, generally in better shape than they started out.

I sold an Eaton's Cooey-Carcano at a local show last weekend for $80. It had an excellent bore and was missing a few parts in the mag. I had no real interest in restoring it and was getting tired of wiping off the fingerprints after several shows where had sat priced @ $100. Lots of lookie-loos though.

My no 1 mk 3 einfield was 100 pretty beat up but Canadian marked wich is why I bought it

bought my ross rifle back for $50, just look around, ask friends if they know anyone selling there guns you may get lucky

bought my carcano for 100 bucks, had my parker hale sporter given to me, had my no4mk1 given to me as well, theres a few adds on the ee of cheaper guns in need of some elbow grease

I haven't sold a gun yet and don't intend to start now! I have my mostly empty gun case reminding me there are so many pieces of history still to admire and shoot

Just arrived here a few days ago, a French Mle 1842 Musket which has been chopped rather mercilessly.

It sold out of the EE for exactly $100 as a "wallhanger".

It is in horrid condition, but there is lots of meat in that old barrel.

Once we put another $90 into it and about 20 hours of work, we will have a quite-respectable Skirmishers' Carbine out of it.

Originals are extremely rare, so we are deliberately leaving ours with its 34-inch barrel: a non-standard length for any GENUINE piece of the period.

In other Terrible Tales, I did pick up a shootable Kar '71 Mauser for under $100; goes nicely with the $3 one I got when I was in high-school.

They ARE still out there.

You just have to LOOK..... HARD.

I agree! there are quite a few good deals out there, just gotta be the lucky buck to find em

Yup. Just waiting for my EE application to be reviewed so i can go digging for lost treasures to my heart's content.
