things you find in your parts bin

Might be some "coin" there, if they are complete. The bottom three appear to have Parker Hale PH 59 or PH60 eye pieces - will have six choices of aperture size. Apparently, once quite common - not so sure about these days. Bottom two sights appear to be for Lee Enfield No. 1 or similar - I think second from top might be for a No. 4 - with adapter plate had been used on other rifles - can sometimes be a challenge to come up with correct BA thread and length for attachment screws.

Cooey, PH5C, PH5A, PH5A. The screw with the bottom 5A is sometimes hard to find. It replaces the trigger guard screw when the 5A is mounted.
Better part of a grand there. And to think, they were just lost in a parts bin... ;).

I also have a PH5C on my DCRA #4 and a Cooey peep site on one of my Cooey 82

I have another Cooey 82 that is missing the peep site so the parts bin one has a home to go to

I have a No1 with a 'Regulated by Fulton' barrel that has the wood chopped that is restorable and will wear one of the PH5A.

only reason I had these out was I picked up the Cooey PH5A and PH5C at a recent gun auction both were in boxes of random parts that I purchased for reasonable prices knowing that the sights were in the boxes, combined I paid about $300 including fees for the boxes. So I'm already ahead not counting the other stuff in the boxes, which included an older Crown spotting scope 20x 50mm.

The bottom two were often adapted to fit No4 receivers as well.

If you happen to have an MP stamped No4 or just about any No4 with a hole drilled and tapped about half way down the butt socket, on the left side, it's to attach one of those sights.

I do believe that I have a No4 with that extra hole, I've seen the odd No4 with a PH5A mounted on it.

I guess I will need to post another picture of my parts bin finds, I think I have about 25 enfield No4 rear sights in various condition, Mostly Mk 3s.
