Here's some news that WILL impact your shooting habits....ALL of us, eventually.

Last Tuesday, the US military issued a directive that calls for the destruction of ALL spent cartridges.

Tens of millions of training rounds, that were previously sold to re-manufacturers, must now be shredded and sold as scrap. And, a US Govt representative will attend at the facility to witness the shredding.

And take a wild guess as to where the scrap brass is destined? China!

One such re-man, Georgia Arms, had been reloading 1.2-1.5 MILLION rounds per MONTH.

Don't shoot a military caliber and think this does not apply to you?

Think again!

This directive, this all-out attack on the shooting community, will have immediate and far-reaching implications on us all. Ammo pricing is expected to QUADRUPLE as a result of this.

The anti-gunners in the US know that, in court, they cannot win a Second Amendment challenge.

But, when aided by a democratic Prez and Congress they can -and are- using the various govt agencies to work their magic. They CAN win - without ever stepping foot inside a courtroom.

Can't take their guns away?
Not a problem...
Make it impossible for them to buy ammo.

If you happen to be a US citizen reading this, get on the horn and call your Representative...TODAY!

Do NOT simply sit back and assume that the NRA can fight this alone.

And to my fellow Canadians, allow me to remind you that if the US sneezes -- it is we Canucks who catch the cold.

This IS serious ####...

This is the 8th thread about this topic anyway. If you actually wrote that you are one serious fear monger!

The original notice from DOD was pretty sedate. Where did Quadruple price increase come from??

Forgot this.......:owned:

Dear 'rivetc78'

Like a good little Forum Member I did a search on this subject before posting - but nothing came up -- so, I thought this might be helpful to some of the fellow members.

One thing I can always look forward to here is a warm reception - good to see things haven't changed.

Good shootin to ya.

PS: yes, I did write this.
And, yes - I did read the DOD notice...

The search function sucks, probably why you didn't find anything. But these concerns are exactly why I will be stockpiling enough components to satisfy my shooting for years. Although its nothing compared to some member who have enough components to supply a small country :D
