So I just got my 2016 hunting license and found out that turkeys open on Friday. Been seeing big toms around for the past couple weeks so I may just have to take a firearm and go and look one up with intent to do harm.

One minor indiscretion 30 years ago and you're still on about it..............big difference is no handguns allowed here.

I meant to ask you...........what exactly have you got stuck up that tom's ass to make him fan his tail like that for photos..........;);)

2dogs.........haven't figured out how one can eat it and get it mounted as well........will have to ask my "critter stuffer" if one gets it to him fast enough, can this be accomplished?

OK so the birds didn't walk into the yard today but a decent blackie did and he didn't get to walk out cause I shot his ass. New post and pics tomorrow.............

pictures to follow but I got my first Tom this morning in WMU 78 five minutes into setting up. Weight 18.2 pounds 3/4 inch spurs.

I learnt this the hard way. Took her all of 3 days to bag her first Bull Elk and I still haven't bagged so much as a cow in over ten years of trying. She usually knocks down a bigger buck than me too. I get to eat well though, so there's that.
