THINKING OF BUYING AN SKS - to make it look like an AK

You will end up paying what you paid for the gun to make it look like an ak instead you should of got a cz 58 witch looks pretty much like an ak
 
You had better get your flame suit on. You are going to get comments like how dare you destroy a piece of history ect ect. There are lots of option. Google Tapco, ATI to name just a few.
 
I would suggest simply buying a CZ-858 and then adding Ak furniture if youd like. Once you start with an SKS-D and modify it to look like an AK, youll spend atleast as much as if you went with the CZ, and it wont look nearly as good. I have yet to see an SKS-D to AK clone conversion that I felt was worth the time and money.
 
Just wait until the Type 81's start showing up next year, they are as close as we are going to get to the AK47 in Canada (without future revisions to the law).

Be careful for the look alike...some a**hat may think its an actual AK and seize from u and the.............:stirthepot2:
 
I just added an ATI stock and tapco 5/20 mags to my Russian SKS and had to do a bit of modifications to it all to make it work and fire properly....
 
I have two SKS's and I think they look better than an AK. Just what do you gain? A detachable magazine so you can waste more ammunition? Or perhaps volunteering as a mercenary in some ####ehole country where real AK's are as common as horse turds?
