Thinking of getting a CZ 75BD for IDPA

I'm planing on trying IDPA. I have been checking out many makes and models of guns and I've found I like the CZ 75BD. I'm looking for any comments positive or negative about its maker and model.

Yup, alot of shooters are using CZ pistols in IDPA with good results too.

Purchase yourself some rubber Hogue finger groove grips and I think that you will be very pleased.

I bought a CZ75B (no D) for IDPA and I love it. The Kadet Adapter kit is a great accessory too. Give you lots of trigger time for little $$$$. The CZs are Great Guns for sure. They are one of the most popular makes with in my local circle of IDPA shooters spanning at least five different clubs or ranges covering a roughly 200+ KM geographic area.

If you consider CZ HG for IDPA - go with non-B model. 85 Combat will make weight and can be used in both SSP and ESP. Trigger will be MUCH better and MUCH easier to improve (if you want to) as opposed to B model and especially decocking gun.
All Combat needs is better sights, more or less; depends on how spoiled and picky you are too.

Yes, but didn't you also beat guys that were using $3500 guns at CQB with your Norinco M4?

To the OP, CZs fit like a glove in most people's hands and are very reliable. Good choice for IDPA.

ummm yup haha, im a die hard cz fan now though, got the 75b for my 18th birthday and havent looked back, buy one and you wont be disappointed... PS get a comptac holster for it waaaay nicer then fobus.
