so, does anyone here have one or know much about them. How do they compare to the Sigs like the 226?
Well, for one thing, they are prohibited...How do they compare to the Sigs like the 226?
I'm hoping that, now that we are getting the SIG P229's coming into Canada with extended factory barrels, we might get SIG PRO's with factory barrels too. The barrels are the same length on both guns in the States (99mm, 3.9 inch).
Good grief! Was it really only 50? ...with no plans for more? I hadn't heard that, but it wouldn't surprise me if it were true. I'm really glad I picked up my P229R 9mm when I did. Who knows how many more there will be. I shoot this pistol better than anything else (other than maybe a target gun or something weird), by a noticable margin. Love that gun!Yeah, but the P229 barrels are made in the US, the SIG Pro barrels are made in Germany. That's the problem. Whether Sauer will do a run of 50 106mm barrels like SIG Arms did is an open question.
Maybe they'll do a suppressed version of the SP2022 though and that barrel would solve the problem. I think I saw a picture of a suppressed SP2022 on their website.
