I have three O/U's and want to keep one.

2008 Citori White Lightning
1971 XT Trap (Golden Clays)
1959 Superposed (full over full, 99%)

The White Lightning will be the first to go, but then I'm stymied. I shoot better with the XT but the old Browning <deleted> old friends last forever.

Never mind. I think I made my mind up.

I have a '59 Superposed as well, 12ga. Lightning 26 1 1/2 bbl skt & skt. Great upland & skeet gun.
On the wish list is a Superposed Lightning trap w/ 30" or 32" to try as a Sporting gun.
Love them Supers!

Thinning is never easy but looking at them from the view of which ones are still being made and I can walk into a gun store and buy again is usually my 1st to go.So you know what one I would keep

That being said, Parts are easily available even in Canada for all of them. Though, I do suspect very highly that the stated manufacture date of 1971 for a Golden Clays XT is off by at least 3 decades.

Tell me this can you go into your local gunshop and say order me a Superpose? And not cost you the price of a new 4 cylinder car? Keep it as I would, or sell the Super to me!!!I never feel bad about selling off the new stuff, but the good old vintage guns, makes me cry! Dale Z!
