Is that a factory-installed magwell? The flat bottom of the grips (although I don't know a whole lot about them) would suggest that it is. If so, I'd be disappointed in their obvious lack of fitting/blending. Kind of looks bolted together, but hey, its a Kimber. I don't have a whole lot of experience with them, but I'd suggest avoiding contact with sunlight and skin. The finish on all the Kimbers I've seen is thin at best, so try to avoid holstering it unless you want to see exposed castings and plastic!

I know form follows function with many of the operators who frequent CGN, but on a pistol you obviously think so highly of, I'd be concerned about finish wear.

Glad to see Kimber's marketing has succeeded again in duping another consumer. Hope you see the light before it falls apart (and is un sellable).

All this when you have no direct experience with a Kimber Tactical Entry II ?

LOL. your babble is duly noted.

I wouldnt expect that you would bring anything less than this Wilson to the line since you speak so fond of the Kimber...

To the OP, as you said AWESOME firearm

Thanks for posting

Not that particular model, no. However, can you enlighten me on what the real differences are between models (other than different sights, grips, etc?) I'm not talking about the minor things that are personal preference to the individual buyer. Is the tactical entry 2 given special treatment before leaving the factory? From what I've seen, they are virtually the same base pistol.

Shouldn't have said "duped", if you're happy with it more power to ya. This is a discussion board, too bad differing opinions aren't allowed. Just not happy with the Kimber I had, wouldn't buy another.

Don't know, never tried a Wilson. Not sure how that's relevant to this topic though.

Really!!! You trashed the $hit out of this Kimber and you dont even comment on how your Norinco is better fitted and can shoot into space during daylight hours...

If you dont like a particular firearm thats your business....if your going to comment at least provide some constructive criticism, instead of acting like a liberal spewing monkey $hit everytime you speak.

I for one really enjoy the 1911 platform, but i wouldnt trash someones thread beacause they showcased a 1911 with a Bobtail grip.
