Is that '74 style compensator threaded for the CSA muzzle already, or did you have a thread adapter made?

It'd be nice to have a 74 compensator for these rifles without the need for an adapter.

What is involved in adapting the AK(?) style grip? What kind of AK it it from? (assuming the AK47 and AK74 grips differ and that's what it's from)

This on is threaded for VZ/CSA. Shop in the States have them in stock, but they usually don't ship to Canada.

No, it came with the folding stock ( the one that is on the non-restricted right now). I've refinished wood myself.

Some dremel the AK grip to make it fit to the VZ plate, but I just removed plate partition of the trigger guard, drilled a hole and ran a screw with the red loctite. Longer metric bolt is also required to complete the job. I got mine from Brasco in Toronto and removed the excess material from the head so it fits AK grip perfectly. I think it's a much cleaner look and feel. Besides, you can install the original grip after that as well.

Id64 I couldn't find that store you talked about buying that grip from. I actually just bought a wood kit for my vz and would love to throw an AK grip on it, would you mind telling me what you paid for it and a link so I can go and purchase one. Thanks for your time
