When your wife discovers how fun trapshooting is and is suffering withdrawals from the club being closed all winter. You suddenly find you're the recipient of a Terry Jordan Wall Chart for dry fire practice hanging on your living room wall.....oh man is she addicted! Gotta love the warning label on the lower left corner!! Laugh2

you need to get one of those computer interactive trap games.

A friend of mine had one

There was a device that inserted into the chamber of the shotgun (some sort of IR pointer)

when the shooter called Pull the bird flew out on the screen projected on the wall (you need a big blank wall)

pull the trigger and if you hit the bird it broke, otherwise it called loss...

Spring is on the way

Those games are big $!

Oh God, trap season can't get here soon enough.
Me and my kids went and tramped though the snowbanks at the trap club last weekend.
It will be a while before we can get to shooting.
But with this warm weather, it is all that's on my mind.

We shoot year round, provincial health restrictions permitting of course. We got lucky this past Sunday and had 5C and sunny, made for a pleasant day at the club. This Sundays forecast, doesn't look as nice.

My club is open for skeet and i could not be happier to be out, cant wait till trap starts again just for the change. I prefer skeet tho more social! cant say a wall chart would keep me happy or mad everytime i look at it!

Feel for you guys our club never closed for practice just registered shoots.think all the local clubs out here are open.

That would look good on one of the living room walls. Yes Sir. That would add some class to the place. Next to my new Deerstalker hat.

Our little club's Trap range is drifted in with snow, in Saskatoon. The Spring sun is starting to get some heat in it, and I am starting to think of Trap shooting again. It will be a few weeks yet.
This has been the winter of "Covid isolation" reloading.

We have lost well over half the snow we had this past week. We didn't get much this winter to begin with. We have only had maybe 2" fall since before Christmas. We had it all arrive in deer season and lost most of it by December. I had maybe 3-4 inches in my yard all winter and now have bare grass showing through already. Alot of fields here are bared off already.

We keep a snowblower in the high house for cleaning the skeet field, and it hasn't been started this year.

Have to like that. I just drove to Edmonton today to fly north for a turnaround and 20 mins east of Elk Island had 7 Canadas pass over the highway. Not much snow left in the fields and sloughs are starting to get snow melt sheet water on the ice. Spring is coming quick.

Imagine what she will do to the house after she discovers Sporting Clays.
