i went to a local store today and looked at M&P15 ...M4 style rifle no flash hider.
guy told me its non restricted. i am sure all these rifles are restricted but he insisted. was he on drugs or is this possible and i am wrong...? was like $1400
someone explain

that is what i tried to tell him. but i didnt want to piss him off and get on his bad side..cause he is ok guy...maybe just slightly lacking knowledge.

cant say...he just works there and they are not busy ... i dont want to kill the business all together...

i can understand that they dont know...the laws are so stupid sometimes its hard to make any sense of it. ...you got to be on top of all this crap all the time. laws are made to intimidate us and ignorance is no excuse...but they are made in a way that sometimes its hard to understand.
its a way for the leading elite to control us.

I had that argument with a salesman at Wholesale Sports in Saskatoon.

Maybe there was a glitch in CFC's computer system and mislabeled the firearm registration as non-restricted.

OP maybe you should go back and ask to see the gun's registration certificate.

What sucks is It seems like Canada, like in California has so many firearms related laws... That people aren't really sure what they are anymore.

It's not really their fault (IMHO at least), as its just so much confusion around the info out there..
