Hey Guys;

Well, I lent my sighted in, but still virgin rifle to my buddy so he could go deer hunting... It's a 308 bolt... Even let him use the last 10 rounds of my handloaded 168 grain hunting rounds... I get the phone call tonight that he used 3 of the rounds... ON COYOTES!!! YAHOO!!!

I'm so pleased that he put the rounds to good use! Killing coyotes definitely brings good karma to my rifle, in my head anyways... Now... If he can just connect on a DEER...

P.S. This the second buddy that I have lent my rifle to during the season, so my season's good deed is done! Oh ya, Nick... I want my rifle back Nov. 7th, ha ha ha... Hopefully with a couple rounds left, ha ha ha...

Thanks Jay for rolling out the red carpet with that one! What a rush though with that one. I gave a fawn call and what I HOPED was a deer coming out ended up being two little 'yotes. Well haven't got my deer yet but got my first coyotes! I didn't have the camera so I can't post pics but I'm planning on going back...if not for a deer maybe I can get a couple more dogs. Thanks bud!
