This will make revolver lovers CRY!!

SuperRedhawk did take a double load of unique. I was with my friend about 10 years ago at the range. We had about 1/2 box left and then we were going home. I shot two cylinders full of his .44 mag and then he shot one and was shooting the second cylinder full when kaboom happened. I think it was the third shot but holy crap, the concussion was huge and the revolver actually flew out of his hand and cut his head just above the ear, and we found it in the small creek that ran behind the shooting line, about 15 yards back. We looked at it and it looked fine, he took it to his gunsmith and he said everything is ok. The SRH is proofed to hold about 75,000 and I think the industry standard is 42-44 thou I can't remember so it is plenty strong. He since sold his Dillon 550 and went with a progressive set up and has been fine ever since. He is very meticulous as far as reloading goes so to this day he has no idea how he loaded 20 grn. of unique without noticing.

I'll bet he yearned for that progressive the whole time he used the 550.;)

here we go again:D , no it could have been worse, could've been a Smith and Wesson:D

Uh, PLEASE sober up before writing such silly posts! Comparing a Python to a S&W... why not compare a Python to a Taurus then? Now, take your medication and think about what you just wrote. ;)

I can't afford a Python, so I wil have to settle for a lowly S&W 686 (Stainless of course) when I get more loose Ca$h. Or I could collect the loose change from the floor of my car and buy a Taurus.

Someone should suggest to Norinco to copy the Python! A Norc Python for $299, now I would go for that.

Personal opinion here, I've shot both eh? To me the only appeal Pythons have is their realative scarcity being as they had to practically hand build them to make them feel as nice as a smith on double action for much more money......now off to take my meds......:D
