im looking at one of these handgun its in a 44mag with a 10'' barrel what are they like and what a good price for one

Single shot, very accurate, was the darling of the sihouette set for a long time. I've had a few of them now, down to one at the moment. The original factory grip sucked, but there are lots of aftermarket replacements. Seeing as how we can't hunt with them legally in this country, one of thier main attractions is gone. FWIW - dan

I shoot a S&W 625, plus a few .357's. The .44 Mag. TC I have, has orginal grips and kicks like all of my other handguns combined. And that is not only my opinion. Friends with ALOT of handgun experience agree.

If you are going to buy one, get after market grips.

Does any retailer regularly stock them new?? (or have they discontinued production?)
