Thompson Center Encore Pro Hunter...

We gave one away last night at our Big Game awards dinner.

The tupperware and stainless doesn't do it for me, but the winner was quite pleased...

The web site says:
The FlexTech™ stock (patent-pending) by T/C lessens felt recoil by 43%
This must be compared to a hard but plate.

Have you guys an opinion on the fantastic claim of 43%???

Sheephunter when you change barrels does the point of impact wander?

Nothing fantastic about the claim, the combination of the Flex stock and Limbsaver pad do indeed reduce felt recoil that much. I'm sure that the pad has the most to do with it though. Encore are heavy felt recoil guns.

Nope, as scope is mounted to barrel, POI never changes.

well i have a savage 111 7mm , and a tc ENDEAVOR 7mm , and the tc kicks less.

I don't have the Pro Hunter but I do have the Encore 209x50 SS along with .308 (24"bbl), .204 and a newly purchase .270 Pro Hunter bbl (still in the mail). These rifles are quite accurate out of the box and IMO, alot of fun to shoot!! I also installed reg. black syn Pro Hunter butt & forearm stocks on and I do believe that recoil is much less.

Oh yeah, gotta 50cal, 12 gauge rifled, .204 ruger, and a .338 Federal barrel for my Pro Hunter. They all shoot MOA or better... thinking about trading up to an Endeavor just to get the finger remove option on the breech plug for the 50!
