Looking for opinions on the Thompson Center rifle , in 7 mm mag . Or any in that line , durability quality accuracy etc

I shoot an encore. It looks odd but shoulders very nicely. I like the interchangeable barrel system and basically learning 1 gun. I have 3 barrels for mine and they all shoot as good as the guy holding it. I have never had issue with it being a single shot as your first shot is often your best shot. I often call my follow up shots the “and don’t come back here no more” shots.
Just my 2 cents

I have a prohunter in .308win and love it. It shoots great with every load I've tried. It comes to the shoulder nicely, and carries nice in my hand. I can reload it quickly if I need a second shot.(took about 10 mins of practice). They are easy to work on if needed, and being able to shoot centerfire, shotgun and even muzzleloader from one platform lends itself to really good proficiency.

The Pro hunter single shots can be nice because they have no "action" you can have a long barrel but a still relatively short rifle

My only wish is that they would eject the spent brass when you open it

I have two of them, a .223 and without even shooting it (-35 & 3ft of snow) and no time to do so I ordered another 1 in 22-250. Today was the first time I got out to shoot and I don't think for $520 delivered to the door you can go wrong. MOA at 100yds - no big task. Quality, I think surpasses Ruger American and Rem 700sps for less money.
