Looking at a auto ordanance?? thompson this is not an original, comes with a 20/5 round mag and a 50/5 round drum verticle foregrip. Approx 1500.00 what do you think a little to expensive or out right getting hosed. Also need to know if you can take the verticle grip off and replace it with a horizontal.

Is it the one with the ugly 19" barrel? I changed mine to a 10 1/2" and had the Cutts Compensator put back on, and changed front grip from vertical to a horizontal grip.
The price doesn't sound out of line. The 5/50 drums are going for something like $350 to $450 approximately.

Yeah, that sounds reasonable for a Thompson now days. Although the last one I bought cost me $500 (FA), so that tells you how old I am.
