Thompson TCR22 Availability?

Saw an ad in a hunting magazine and they do look interesting.
The rifle and magazine looks similar to a 10/22.
While watching the disassembly and assembly or the magazine there are two extra parts (Rotor washer and first round indicator).

It’s basically a better built 10/22 with a machined receiver/picatinny rail, Magpul stock and a peep sight. It also uses a slightly modified 10/22 mag that locks the bolt back after the last round. It addresses everything I don’t like about the current 10/22,

^my thoughts exactly

Just bumping this to see if anyone has bought one of these? I watched a YouTube review last night...looks like a pretty decent gun. Accuracy was surprisingly good, though they were running some good ammo through it.

I handled one at Basspro and was very impressed. Fit/finish much better than a stock 10/22. The peep sight is very low on the receiver so for someone like me with a large head, I don't imagine I'd be able to get my face down low enough to comfortably use it but as a backup its fine. They were $549 IIRC and ship with one mag. Of note, the bolt hold open after the last round is only a function of the included TC mag that has a lever you need to press in order to load and when empty it pops up and blocks the bolt. I believe you can auto-release the bolt with loaded standard Ruger mags which is nice.

I will get one to go along side my Magnum Research MLR1722 and will probably put a holographic red dot on it for plinking.
