Those Enfield AIA 10 rnd mags from NRMI--Any word?

When capitalism just sucks:

Yeah, we all got the same 'heavy heart' email. It's sad the way the deal went down, and I feel bad for NRM.
I believe they did their best and that nobody "lied" to us.
I got my refund 'toot sweet', so I'm not as "pissed off" as some--just disappointed.
Now the Elanders are selling like hotcakes.
That's really just the essence of "venture capitalism". What are you, some kind of "socialist"? :runaway:

It's OK.

Sporting Lad....read the email they sent me in October.
The magazines are still coming. just blowing smoke up my ass. Thats the part that bugs me.

Ja, Capt, I got the very same two emails from NRM. In October they still thought the mags were coming.
In November the deal fell through and we were informed of same.
So wherein lies the lie?
I expect all parties concerned are disappointed, none of us more than NRM. It's no biggy.
They are legit--I got one of their ten round mags for my Savage 10 last summer: "All Good!"
Now go out and get yourself something nice with the money you'll be getting back.
Use your "-10% off" discount.
Or shop elsewhere. Whatever. It's still a free country (mostly).
Cheers!

"You're a low-down Yankee liar..."
Alan Ladd to Jack Palance in 'SHANE'

Pretty certain that i was one of the first to pre order, and i would certainly like my money back....the heavy hearts email was better than a month ago. Dont think i was lied too, although NRM could have been better communicators as there were big gaps of over a month with nothing from them, in a thread with 500+ posters that wanted answers. Sh!t happens, and i bear no ill will towards NRM but the christmas/boxing day sales are already happening. While it will be nice to have a 10% discount code, in looking through their products i dont really see anything that i would need/buy.
