Presumably with a 3.5# connector and to make the trigger pull lighter...what did you do to it and how happy are you with the results?
I purchased a V4 connector from "Zev tech" and a trigger spring from the same co. Then I started to think that maybe these aftermarket parts in the Glock will invite problems. I have heard that the heavier trigger spring in the Glock is prone to breakage eventually (as in as little as 1000 rounds) and people have certain reliability problems with certain aftermarket parts.

I figure I should have gone with a Glock brand one out of a G34 instead. Does anybody know who in Canada sells those? And if you have a Glock with a modified trigger, which brand did you use and how reliable is it?

While I love the lighter 3.5# connector, I don't want to mess up the Glock's track record for reliability because half the allure of having a Glock is having an extremely reliable and dependable gun.

Thanks

I use a Glock 3.5# (-) connector with a NY1 spring on my gen3 G17. Similar trigger weight as OEM but feels crisper.
Haven't had any issues with it so far....

I put a 3.5lb connector into my glock, only shot about 50 rounds with it so far. I also did the "25 cent polish job" (search youtube for more info). It's alot smoother now from when I got it....but then again, it's my first pistol as well so maybe I'm getting used to it. An extended slide release helped me alot as I was having to change my grip to release it in the past.I do like the current setup and can't think of anything I'll be changing.

I have been using them since 1996. About 35k rounds through my first gen G19. Then about 6k through a G26. More recently about about 15k through gen 3 G19. No issues of any kind. Its a very basic part witlh not much togo wrong. After a sight upgrade probably one of the easiest improvements.

Just put one in my g17 along with wolf spring kit form Hical. I have only used snap caps in it so far but the trigger feels awsome and super light... can't wait to get out to the range and try it... as for reliablity can't say...

And if you have a Glock with a modified trigger, which brand did you use and how reliable is it?

Went with a complete Zev trigger kit. Was the only way to get what I wanted. Has been perfectly reliable for over 15K.

Highly recommend it.

I went with a Ghost Rocket 3.5 connector and lighter springs from Ghost. The rocket connector has to be filed down to fit the gun but will give you no overtravel. Overall this set-u is night and day difference between stock.
