Those with glocks...

nylon for the most part works for me. though at the range i will sometimes use a snake which has brass.

I really thought the next line after clicking the thread link would be be:

We solute you!

P.S. We're actually suppose to clean these things? :p I used a patch.

My Glock only has 2000 rounds thru it.... So I havent had a chance to clean it yet.... Will give it a try when it hits 5000...

I'm too cheep to buy anything but lead. I found it took my too long to get all the lead out of the barrel with the nylon brush so I switched to one of those spiral looking stainless brushes, now it only takes two or three strokes for it to be clean as new.

I notice that majority is using plastic, and not brass brush.

Do you perceive potential for damage if you use brass brush on regular basis?

It is softer than steel, does better job, why do you prefer plastic brush?

I would assume because some of them might be using copper solvents.

I have a good collection of the glock cleaning tools. Never use them. I run a bore snake once in a while. I've had about 8 different Glocks. Never had any issues with fouling with factory barrels. Glocks keep shooting even when filthy.
