So I'm seriously considering acquiring a .22LR to take along with me for hikes etc. and on hunts to bag some grouse or those cute fuzzy wuzzy bunnies
.
I've tried a few different semi-auto .22 rifles including the almighty ruger 10/22 but just don't like the feel of them. I would prefer a bolt action with a more "full-size" feel and that isn't going to break the bank (after all it's just a .22 and I can't justify spending anything over $400 cuz then I might as well just buy another fun centrefire).
Does anyone have any experience with the Serbian made Zastava Z5 in .22LR (this was also sold for a few years as the Remington Model Five)? Please let me know your thoughts on any aspects of the rifle... thanks very much. I have found a brand new one for $300 and so far can't seem to find a much better deal for nice full-size bolt action .22
Thanks All!
