Anyone own one? What's the consensus with them? The research I've turned up is (to me) inconclusive or not the same as hearing it from actual owners.

Looking to buy one in .22LR

I'd wait a bit and see how they stand up to some use before buying. They use to be pretty terrible by most reviews...

I have one in .357 mag 5' barrel! had it out for the first time on saturday. loved it. nice balance, shoots more accurate than me, used the factory grips and felt nice shooting. factory grips seemed a little plasticy when i first picked it up but nice when shooting,it fit my hand nice but then i dont have large meat hooks either ! only put about a 100 rounds through it and it performed great! as for longevity, maybe someone else can answer that.

Real life got in the way or I'd have the review of my new 9mm posted already.

I got to put around 80 rounds through it last Tuesday. But then I was busy the rest of the week and the range here was closed for the weekend due to being rented out. So I'll get to shoot mine again tomorrow evening with the new mainspring.

The gun is actually apart at the moment and I've taken pictures of the insides. Fit and finish is good. In fact for the money it's DARN good. It's easily up to Ruger specs.

I've handled the .22's and the one with the aluminium shroud and the tensioned steel inner liner has my eye.

Accuracy of the 9mm is so far not quite as good as the S&W I shot alongside it last Tuesday. But then the S&W is slicked up and fitted with the Wolff spring kit where the AP 9mm has the hellishly heavy stock mainspring and heavy trigger pull. I tried to pull through evenly but it showed up as around a 5 to 6" group at 20 yards vs the 4'ish" group I got with my S&W.

Anyway I'll post the results and target pictures after tomorrow to at least get started.

These are new guns to the Canadian market. And like you I didn't see much information on the web at all. So I'm guessing that they are pretty new to the whole world and not only Canada.

Just got mine, like the look and feel of it, trigger a bit tight, but brand new and not oiled so as expected. Looks like a nice finish, not fancy blued then also not $500.00 more expensive. Look forward to shooting it, always wanted a reasonable double action .22 revolver.

Importer in 2007 to the US and were pretty poorly received...

Being that this was 7 years ago.

I've handled the .357 model at the range and have found the facts don't pertain to the current models...ie: "a completely unusable double action" as stated by the tester.

I can't comment on the tester's model or any model prior to last month.

The .357 my friend has, my 9mm and .22lr have been the most joy I've had since getting my PC 686.

I'm certain that after 7 years...somethings do improve.
