Thoughts on NC Star

I am considering putting an NC Star SRT series scope with BDC on my XCR in .223 and I am wondering if anyone has any experience with this scope?
Also thinking of a Bushnell Banner 3x9 with BDC.
give me your opinions guys.
 
Go with the Bushnell, you will be a lot happier in the end. Should you have issues, is will likely be easier to resolve them with Bushnell.
 
Use the search function in the Optics forum. Plenty of threads about NCStar and how they are. Let's just say, you get what you pay for. Some users, including myself. Have had good success using them, plenty of others will tell you they are garbage. They are hit and miss, in quality and in usage.

Go with the Bushnell.
 
If you put an NCStar scope on anything other than a bubba'd Cooey, you deserve to be kicked squarely in the nuts. My personal opinion only, of course.

Buy anything other than NCStar. Bushnell, Tasco, whatever. Personally, I'd go with a Vortex scope of some sort given they are much easier to come by in Canada now that OST is stocking them.

Spending upwards of $2.5k on a rifle and then buying the most poo optics on the market is borderline retarded, again, in my personal opinion only. If you spend $200 on an NcStar scope, you need your head examined.

Don't waste your money, buy a used bushnell or leupold for the same money and be much further ahead. They are too hit and miss to take a chance. Go without of a while, shooting with a bad optic will frustrate you and waste expensive ammo. not worth being impatient.

It takes a rich man to buy cheap optics.
