Hi CGN,

Saving up for a reloading set, and I was thinking about the RCBS Pro 2000 auto index.

What are your thoughts about it? Is there better progressive presses in the sub 1000 range?

I don't own my own presses, but have reloaded with buddies who have had various presses, mostly from Lee.

Thanks for the input!

what are you loading?
how much do you shoot?
are you looking for bulk plinking loads or accuracy? (not that both can't be achieved with 1 press.)

i would consider a hornady LNL progressive or dillion 650.

The rcbs offering is quite expensive compared to lesser priced units that would be just as capable if not more so. All the guns listed in your sig would make me recommend a single stage or better yet a turret allowing accurate loads with less setup time thus faster output. If pistol is the focus then turret or progressive. Good luck

way to expensive, for the same price you can get a 650 with a case feeder, and a case feeder is a must for any sort of volume (which is the purpose of a progressive press right)

I haven't updated my sig lately, but I also will be reloading 9 and 45, 223, and 357.

Accuracy for sure, but mostly volume. My concern is maybe 75% volume, 25% accuracy? I fail to see how a properly setup, conscientious user would get loads as accurate or moreso than factory with any setup (maybe I'm crazy?)

Where can you get Dillion products in Canada?

Thanks!
