Thoughts on Vortex Diamondback binos

I am thinking of picking up a set of these probably 10x42. I will mostly use these for deer/elk/moose hunting. I was at cabelas and really like how they felt, and from what I could tell in store appeared to be decent optiks. Their price point seems to be right in my wheel house, I would like to spend more but just not in the cards this year. The reviews I have seen online seem to be very good for that price point. Any other suggestion would be appreciated. If its worth it I could look to spend up to $500 at the max. Thanks

I have a pair and for the money they are pretty decent. That being said I find myself longing for better. I find they're not much good at first light. This morning I was glassing an alfalfa field full of deer at first light. My rangefinder said they were 430 yards away and I didn't have a hope of spotting antlers. With my night force scope on 10x I could spot a buck or two in the group. Left me thinking it may be time to upgrade.
