Thoughts on Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x44?

Hello,
I was thinking of purchasing a Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x44 to mount on a Tikka .308 for hunting and target shooting purposes.
Does anyone have any opinions, experience or suggestions about this scope or alternatives?
 
Very nice optic. I like the range of zoom. Not a fan of the weight but for a target scope it'd be great. As well as backed up by one of the best warranty's I've seen. If i was setting up a more target gun id use it if I was going for a mulit use gun id probably use a different one. Like the viper HD or something.
 
I was pleasantly surprised by the clarity and brightness of this optic! Being “made in china”, I was not expecting much, but was blown away. It is a solid, well built scope for 1k. The turrets track as expected, the reticle (EBR-7C) is great for PRS. I’d definitely get another if needed.

Similar to my 6-36. Those bars above center draw your attention when there’s lots of movement causing low shots. I switched to 4-16 Duplex to break the habit. 3 inch bullseye at 1000 still gets ‘er with 16x.
