Thoughts on Winchester Wildcat

Thats a russian gun with wood steel and plastic, for the money I would get a 10/22 or Savage bolt gun. We sell 'em in the shop but i would be concerned about the plastic trigger guard and exposed plastic mag holder.

Mine didnt have a plastic trigger guard, only the mags were plastic.It was a great gun, but for the same money buy a 10/22, i sold my wildcat and now shoot the ruger and love it!! It was a wee bit expensive for the russian quality
 
They were a good deal as TOZ-78's from Armrus at $100.....not sure I would even pay $150 for one as they are a little rough.
 
I recently purchased one for my daughter and am generally pleased with it.
Accuracy with bulk ammo is ok, although a little web research would have been a good idea.

He should shoulder it as the stock is on the small side.
 
Son & I have had the Toz 78's for a few years.
Very accurate rifles, way, way better than my 10/22.
If the Wildcat can pergform the same way, it would be a good buy ( but it was a way better buy @ $100.00 :D )
