Thoughts : Springfield Armory Waypoint

If they do, I want one! But that's probably an irrational thought, no idea what the warranty support would be like and lots of guns have accuracy guarantees now.
 
Springfield is carried up here so they should hopefully make it up before too long I would hope. Then again the Sig Cross was supposed to be here soon too... The retail on the adjustable cheek, carbon fibre barrel model is supposed to be around $2500 US, so hopefully in the $3000 neighbourhood here. Which seems like a good deal...
AG Composites stocks through Insite seem to be around $1200ish.
Carbon fibre barrels around $1300?
Couple hundred for bottom metal and then depending on the quality of action, lets say around $800? Plus gunsmithing, shipping, tax, etc.
So if it performs and is around $3000 then it would seem to be a good value? I am optimistic... but it is a tad late for hunting season... :p
