I just got a Fabarm Optima Escort Aimguard by Hatsan, what a mouthful. Was wondering if there's threaded barrels available, or if it's possible to get the threads smithed?

Ummmm, that's not a Fabarm. Don't think that barrels are available (at least they are not for my MPA, I asked), but if I were you if contact Casey at Tacord. If it can be tapped for chokes, he's the man to do it.

Different sites seem to call it different names, maybe I'll just stuck with Aimguard. Thanks for the lead

Could be due to the fact that some parts fit either.

Escort and Optima are the same gun, made by Hatsan. Your gun will be stamped with either name, but not both.
Aimguard is one of their model names.
Fabarm is another firearm company altogether.
