thread pitch/dia for grip bushings?

OK, so I'm going to install a pair of chip Mccormick thin line grips on my Norc commander. Of course I didn't count on it having METRIC (duh, of course) bushings stock. Not to big a deal, the seem enough smaller I can run a tap down and they'll work, but does anyone know what the normal thread is for 1911 grip bushings?

Are you talking about the actual bushing thread into the frame or the thread within the bushing for the grip screw?

The bushing thread is .236" x 60 tpi.

The grips screws are .150" x 50 tpi.

sorry, I wan't clear. The thread of the bushings into the frame.....thats a freakin' oddball, sigh, I hoped I had one, now I have to find a tap.......
