I've got a couple of pistols now with threaded barrels (a 9mm and a .22LR) and I'm wondering what attachments are out there to stick on these things?

While I'm interested in functionality, this would mostly be for the "looking cool factor." Thinking about maybe a fake can, or sticking a linear comp like a KX3/XB1 on the end of the .22.

I've seen guys put compensators on Ruger .22's and they do make a little bit of difference from what I remember when i tried.

An AR flash hider would work on a .22, Just don't screw it on your 9!

A fake can probably won't work on your 9 because any handgun with a tilting barrel needs a recoil booster in the can so it can fully cycle. Fake can is just dead weight on your barrel and probably won't even let the slide go back enough to eject the brass. If you try it post results as I've always been curious.

You could put one on your .22 if it's got a fixed barrel and it would work fine.

My boredom got the better of me, and I raided the parts bin. My gun simply wasn't tacticool enough.
