threaded barrels...

heres a topic for you folks...

so firstly before anything i understand that for short pistols a threaded barrel is needed in order to make the length the legal limit.

but other then that reason, what is the reason of having a threaded barrel? i understand they are also used for suppressors but that is clearly
pointless since they are prohibited.

A threaded barrel is not needed.

The length is needed and most aftermarket barrels of legal length come threaded.

The threading can be for a can, comp or whatever else you want to screw on it.
