Threading a mossberg 500 410 for win choke

I would check with Rusty Wood Trading Co. I know they do shotguns, not sure if they're set up for 410 though. Their webpage says call/email for calibers other than 12ga.

Tooling may be available from 4D Reamer Rentals in MT,USA.

If not there, buy the tooling from Brownell's and re-sell it after use to recover the funds.

I think it sorta goes with the territory, that one way or another you eat the cost of the tooling. You have a better chance of recovering some of the price, if you buy what is needed, and still own it after the work is done.

What would be cheaper. Getting the barrel set up, including cost of chokes, or buying a different gun, done at the factory. Could even sell the one your looking to thread to offset costs.

Seems most 410 are fixed choke. Probably have to get into a decent o/u to find one with chokes. My idea wouldn't work then.
