threading on norinco ar

Can anyone tell me what the threading on the norinco ars are. I tried to use a 1/2 28 flash hider but it is not working.

WTF? Mine's 1/2 x 28.

AFAIK Norinco barrels have the standard 1/2x28 threads

Every one I have seen is 1/2"-28...........

OP hasn't specified whether he has a CQA or a CQ311. The newer carbines are imperial, but were the older rifle clones with 1/12" barrels metric?
