As always, it's great to see your collection David!

Would you mind if I asked when you aquired your MP44's and for how much? Every day I kick myself for being born at the wrong time. Would have loved to walk into a store filled with these German war relics, and walk out with a full auto MP44. Can't imagine what that freedom feels like.

yep they are nice i have the same ones but mine still work ...just my govt dosent trust me to take them to the range anymore........

Don,

The Steyr ---deactivated with moving action --purchased in Dec 2005.
The Erma---12(3) converted auto---purchased in Nov 2006.
Different prices.....I added slings (from Europe) and parts kit--extra magazine later.

As much as I don't want to see the four 12(3)s that I currently own neutered----the present deactivation requirements would see them welded with no moving parts......I have a great deal of trouble with that thought.
Because of that--- my current plan is to leave them intact as they are.

David

The deactivated M1928A1 Savage manufactured (1942) Thompson is gone.
The rest of the submachine guns in the photo below are 12(3) converted autos.
