Where can you get those three little filler screws to fit the side scope mount holes on so many recently imported Swedish rifles? Tradeex used to sell them, but they are no more.

I had bought a set of three from Trade-Ex - no longer sure what size they were - M5-0.8 or similar? Is always the game - to ID what size is needed - unless you have "bushels" on hand, to try various, to see what fits and is correct thread. Chances are good they are a metric size if done in Sweden - about most anything possible for size and thread pattern if done else-where. Once finding correct size and thread pattern, should not be too difficult to make a "plug", to length, with a dremel slot?? I have filled a few holes with plug screws - I found it handy to use a drop or so of the blue thread locker to hold them from turning in or out, until you want to turn them.

I have a package I bought years ago, headless, I think they are tang or base fillers , would have to check, as I forget, sure they will not be metric.
I could have a look Tomorrow or Monday.

I would like to find some too, I have a rifle that had a side mount scope mount and the holes are pretty big!!

If you cant find screws a coloured crayon melted into the hole with some backing so it doesnt get into the actiuon can help keeps crap out of the holes and prevent rust yet removeable if you ever want to use the holes.

See your local Gunsmith, he probably what you want.
Back in the early seventies and before I went into Business myself I worked in a large Hardware Store. During hunting season I sold and mounted hundreds of Riflescopes at no extra charge. Nobody wanted the Filler screws then so I took a few Spoonful home. Still have plenty but be warned there are different types that is why I recommend see your friendly Gunsmith.

Cheers
