three position saftey for mauser 98

i got a jc higgins model 50 in 270 win. that i'm building for my daughter and was wondering where i can get the model 70 style three position saftey here in canada? i see brownells got them but i would rather buy from canada. the saftey on it now moves from left up to top , but brings up in the scope. Hard to use.

Three is better IMO as you can cycle the bolt in the 1/2 way position to unload.............Harold

Does that 2 position safety from tradeex lock the bolt in the safe position?

What is involved in installing the 3 position safety? The new england custom site says: " Gunsmith installation required." What would it cost to have a gunsmith install one?

It's a Mauser, there is no need to fully close the action to cycle the rounds out of the magazine. As soon as they pop up under the extractor, pull the bolt to the rear. This phobia of cycling rounds out of the action with the safety off is asinine.

There is no need on any rifle to do this.
