I have a friend who wants a drop in stock- synthetic or otherwise, for his 22/250 remington 700.
Any ideas?
I'm not a thumbhole type shooter, and have checked a few sites like Robertson Composites wit no luck......

I have a McMillan synth thumbhole for my Rem. 700 action. It was the Lazzeroni model design. If you like thumbhole designs, it works pretty good.:)

Factory remington ?

The factory remington XR 100 stock is a thumbhole, I'm sure it could be made to fit.

My 6 BR is built on an XR 100 origionally a .204 Ruger

The XR action and the Rem 700 action use different bolt spacing. Much work would be needed to fit the 700 action to the XR stock. With the plethora of stocks available for the 700 it would be much easier to get a pre inletted thumbhole from any of the manufacturers mentioned.

Believe me, the opposite is also true :(
