Im looking to convert my rem’ sps 243 win to a AI and while im at it I would like replace the plastic stock it came with. Im thinking of something along the lines of a laminate thumbhole type stock with some crazy colors.
Been looking at some boyd stocks.

Does anyone know who stocks some nice stocks :D in canada?
Im not planning on spending a million $ on a custom made stock, just want something nicer and better than the plastic I have on it right now.
My budget is around $300 tops.

I paid around $150 US for this model in grey and black from richards Micro-Fit stocks.

Thumhole stocks

I have ordered three custom laminate stocks from Richards Microfit, and they have all been superb. There is no hassle in getting them across the border, but they are so busy it can take as long as three or four months to get the stock to you. Check out their website; they have quite a few nice styles and laminate patterns. I'm in the process of fitting a regular monte carlo stock to my Savage in the "Irish Moss" laminate, and it looks very nice.

the key to getting through to richards microfit is to call them at around 4:30 to 4:45 california time. Don't bother sending an e-mail... they are too busy to respond. Check their website as they have stocks already made, from cancelled orders, overstock, returns etc. I ordered the same stock for my 10/22 as stryker... looks exactly like the picture in his post. I took a bunch of pictures when I got it so if you want to pm me your e-mail address, I can send you the pics so you know what to expect. Oh, ordered mine last feb.23 rd, received first week in april.:)
