Lost the turret caps for my Elite 3200. I searched all over for replacement parts with no luck. I called bushnell canada and they are sending me replacement caps out of goodwill! FREE!

Way to go Bushnell, you have a happy customer here.

P.S The bushnell elite 3200 with DOA reticle is excellent in all conditions... even low light.

No, it's not.

I own quite a few bushnell products.

I own an Elite 3200 3-9x40 in matte black
I own an Elite 3200 3-9x40 in silver
I own an Elite 3-9x40 in silver (new version)

None of them can spot holes in paper at the range as well as any of the Simmons 22 Mag scopes on any of my rimfire rifles.

I use them for hunting and they seem durable enough but let's be clear:

The $50 rimfire scope beside it at the bench provides better clarity than the Elite series and can see bullet holes that the 'elite' scopes cannot.

Well it's nice to hear that they treated you well, that was an easy one though. Send in a scope for a warranty repair and see what happens. Try calling them to follow up. Try to follow up online as the automated answer device tells you to do. IMO they have a bit of work to do there before it's aptly named a customer service department. I have heard about an over the counter replacement warranty. (With another brand obviously). That concept along with a quality line is intriguing. Especially when that nasty problem shows up a week before hunting season starts.

Chit happens.
Do you not have a spare tire?
If one of my Bushnells craps out, I grab another rifle.
Yeah yeah Gary I know.
But for the cost comparison, I believe they offer a decent value.
Then again, I wouldn't spend the $$ on an Elite 6500.

I'm not plugging Bushnell but I have a bunch of their scopes, as well as Leupolds, Burris, Redfields, a Swarovske, a Minox and others, and the Bushnells have never had any issues.
I can see 7mm bullet holes in the paper @ 100 yds. with either a 4X or 6X Bushnell or any of the others set to the same power.
A 10X Bushnell served time on my 50 BMG until my 8.5X25 Leupold arrived, then it went on my F-class 308 and gave me second place in a 300 yd. match.
A 270 Winchester pre-64 in my safe collected over 30 Moose for its previous owner and goodness knows how many Island Blacktail before I got it wearing nothing more than a 1960s vintage 4x Bushnell.... still works great, can't knock that.
I think its funny when someone slags Bushnell scopes, all scopes can have issues, I've sent a few Leupolds in for warranty over the years, but I don't slag them...

My "irk" with Bushnell is not just because I got a brand new scope and had to send it in for warranty repair after 5 rounds. It mostly has to do with the fact on how long it takes Bushnell to even talk to you about your warranty work let alone getting around to actually doing it. Then finding out they will just replace the scope instead after the months of waiting. Then get the new scope only to have it fail after a few rounds with the same problem.

That was the third time I've had to send a Bushnell optic in for warranty repair. Actually the only brand of scope never to break on me is actually Tasco. Oh but I did lose my scope caps and they sent me replacements for free.

I'm currently running a Millett on one of my rifles (millett is owned by Bushnell) so we'll see how that goes.

Yeah I forgot, I do have a few of those too. One, a 3X9 Tasco has been on a 300 Win. Mag for nearly 20 yrs. and no problems.
My hunting partner has a 36X Tasco on a very competitive target rifle and he swears by it.

Every rifle I buy seems to get the Tasco 6-24 Varmint scope on it for awhile. Yes on the highest magnifications it sucks but it hasn't broke yet and I do not baby that scope :p
