Did the precision stage at an ODPL match on the weekend with my JP upper.

We only had 100 yards to work with, so we scaled the targets to simulate 600 yards etc (and then stuffed them behind scaled 'pickup trucks', buildings as below).

Not only was I the only guy to clean the stage, notice that the first two rounds from the gun were actually touching - this was from the 100 yard station.

JP's stuff works!

Here's the upper up close. Note to safety types: you can see the yellow mag block used in this shot; we also took the bolt out. Note to gearheads: you can see the cooling fins under the ff tube.

fack dude what did that set you back?
I'd hate to add it all up, including the time. The results are worth it.

JP upper (ctr-ua), socom diamond lower, leupold scope with alumina covers, various other bits like the angle cosine indicator and JP-SRTS (iron sight thingy on the ff tube) - mostly for chrome - then the case prep and load development. All in all, the effort makes the final result all the more satisfying.

Cleaning the stage and winning on total points - going against mostly bolt-actions - was a nice cap to a long build :)
