Beachburg ON Canada held there monthly rimfire shoot yesterday tight finish!
Anshutz 54 80s vintage Sightron 10x by 50x using Midas +
Rem 540xr 70s vintage Lyman 25x TK lee ultra fine dot, Midas +
Both shooting same lots of midas +
Posted below targets at 50 Yards
1st target 2 shots on each with a 10 min break between each target then 3 on each target. 1/2 " 10 ring
then we move to 100 yards and shoot 200 yard hunter class targets 1" 10 ring 5 shots on each target with 10 min breaks
Do not have targets for 100y but if you look on main score sheet results you will see scores of Bills 54 493 11 v Pauls 540 493 18 v
Great day, winds mild at 50 yard targets but afternoon at 100 it was not so nice
gusty to 10 to 15 mph.
Some days those x count wins.
Bill is a excellent shooter in F class & Benchrest and a great guy, I teas' him if you want to win get yourself a Old Remington LOL

The blond colour stock is Rem 540xr which I purchased new in 70s $ 145.00, only thing done is stripped and sanded with coat of clear lacquer, factory
trigger was worked by Ian Robertson nice crisp 7oz not bedded just check action screws with torque wrench. The scope is off my F class gun I replaced it with a old Lyman 25x Perma center with a ultra fine cross hairs and dot TK Lee couple of fellow shooters looked through it and two shooters could not find cross hairs or dot, believe me its fine,

The majority use bipods some Harris, couple of Seb joy stick model, probably 3 Star shooters, Sinclairs,and couple use to me the Cadillac of all bipods the
Henry Remple I used a old Hart Pedistal when I shoot my 40x Rem in a benchrest stock for me Star shooter type is better than Hart
