Tried to adjust my SVT's front sight today and it wouldn't budge. So instead of soaking it in oil and waiting for it to free up, I took the wife's hairdryer to it. Voila!! After about 3 mins of high heat, a tap with the hammer and punch was all it took.
Thought I'd share this with you red owners out there, it might save some aggravation later on.
