Tikka .243 load

I'm looking for a good load for my girlfriends Tikka T3 .243. Its going to be used for deer and the range. Also, which primers would be best for this round?

Use standard, large rifle primers.
For deer, you will want 95 or 100 grain bullets.
Just take a load out of a loading book, using slow powder, something like 4350 or 4831. Work the load up to what the book says is maximum, or near maximum and it will likley be completely satisfactory.

A nice range load I have recently done is with Win 760 powder and 70gr Sierra bullets, start at 45.5 and work up in 1/2 gr increments. This load in my Sako HB was putting them into one hole at 100 yards. FS

Had very good success with 41/42 grains of IMR4350 and the 100 Partition.
Use standard LR primers. [I am using CCI 200s]
Start at 40 and work up carefully.

They have the new 90gr Nosler Accubond bullet too. It is very close to the 90gr Ballistic Tip. Accubond for deer, ballistic tip for target. My 2 cents

I found the Hornady 95 gr SST bullets work well in my VLS with Federal large rifle primers and 43 grs of H4350 10 thou into the lands. Took a nice doe and WT buck with this load. Be safe and work up to this it is a little on the hot side but I have had no problems in my rifle so far.

36.5 gr Varget with a 85 grain sierra HPBT game king works very well for me. I use CCI BR2 primers.
