Tikka 595 recoil lug question

I have just received a McMillan Edge for my Tikka 595 but I cannot get the recoil lug out of the factory stock. Any suggestions? The rifle is not bedded,

Somebody did one on here not that long ago, Blargon maybe? Do some searches, if I recall he actually chopped his old stock to get it out. But before you do that get some better advice then mine.

chop saw and screw driver, but it was bedded pretty good. if its not bedded, it should pry out, unless it was glued.

Accuflite Arms will ship you a new one if needed, I believe they are ~$40.
